Mark M. Moody, 58, of Bouse, Arizona, beloved husband and best friend to Lee Moody, passed away on Saturday June 3, 2017.
Mark was born on July 14, 1958 to Wallace "Tex" Moody and Gail Gordon in San Bernardino, California. He grew up in the Parker, Arizona area, graduating from Parker High School in 1977. Mark had a passion for farming, mesquite trees, plants, flowers and his dogs. He was loved by all for his kindred spirit and love of Mother Earth. Mark M. Moody, 58, of Bouse, Arizona, beloved husband and best friend to Lee Moody, passed away on Saturday June 3, 2017.
Mark was born on July 14, 1958 to Wallace "Tex" Moody and Gail Gordon in San Bernardino, California. He grew up in the Parker, Arizona area, graduating from Parker High School in 1977. Mark had a passion for farming, mesquite trees, plants, flowers and his dogs. He was loved by all for his kindred spirit and love of Mother Earth. He enjoyed painting and drawing, sharing his artwork with many. He took pleasure in participating in triathlons and running events throughout Arizona and California.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Tex Moody and friend and brother-in-law Steven Smiley. Survivors include his mother, Gail Elam and her husband Joe of Bouse and step mother Veronica Moody of Cornville, Arizona. He leaves his children, daughter Jessee Marriott of Vista, California, son Jake Moody of Las Vegas, Nevada and step daughter Jonsie Ellis of Baltic, Connecticut, two granddaughters, Arianne and Ambrie Marriott of Vista, California, siblings Lyle Moody (Joan) of Yuma, Arizona, Julie Smiley of Desert Center, California and Russ Moody of Bouse, Arizona, godson Beau Franklin of Oceanside, California and his friend of over 55 years, Wayne Lilly of Phoenix, Arizona.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the AHAKHAV Tribal Preserve, 2540 Rodeo Drive, Parker, Arizona 85344.
